Metalsmiths Sterling's Exchange Policy and Jewelry Repair
There's nothing worse than getting home and finding that little black purse you fell in love with at our store actually looks blue against the dress you planned to wear. Don't despair!
At Metalsmiths Sterling, our generous 14-day product exchange policy is designed with customer satisfaction in mind. Simply bring your purchase back to the store you bought it at - or any of our stores - and we'll happily exchange it for another item or for store credit. Our exchange policy asks that you bring your receipt with you and that items be unworn and unaltered -- of course.
You may also exchange items purchased online by mailing them to our Authorized Return Depot. Unless we made an error in order processing, return shipping fees will apply. Shipping charges will automatically be deducted from your store credit.

Metalsmiths Sterling understands that sometimes, a gift isn't quite right. We offer an extended exchange policy during the holidays. Any purchases mafe between November 1 and December 24, 2009 may be exchanged with a receipt (or gift receipt) from January 1 - January 31, 2010. Exchanges cannot be processed between December 26 and December 31, 2009. Exchanges made between January 1 - January 20, 2010 will be made at current sale price, and exchanges made between January 21 - January 31, 2010 will be made at the original purchase price.
Product Warranty
At Metalsmiths Sterling, we stand behind the superior quality of our products and our meticulous customer service by providing a comprehensive product warranty on all our merchandise, whether ordered online or purchased in one of our retail locations.
Most Metalsmiths Sterling jewelry and accessories come free of defects, however there is always that rare occasion when a small flaw may be found. If that should occur simply visit a Metalsmiths Sterling store, receipt in hand, and we will gladly repair the item in question. If your jewelry can't be fixed, we'll replace it - with a smile. An extended warranty, provided by the manufacturer, generally applies to all eyewear and watches purchased through Metalsmiths Sterling.
Handbags
A one-year product warranty covering defects in workmanship accompanies every handbag purchased at Metalsmiths Sterling, including all bags and purses made with genuine leather, suede, canvas or PVC. The product warranty does not cover damage that results from normal wear and tear however we'd be happy to repair any daily use damage that occurs for a minimal charge.
